can i use face wash as body wash? will it still be as effective as it is for the face as for the body?
Can i use face wash as body wash?
Yes, but I don't know if it would be as potent to clean your body as it would your face, as it is specially designed for your face.
Reply:Yes...just remember that it will cost a lot more over time to use it unless if you're used to using stuff like the VS body wash then it should be cheaper than that =)
Reply:just dont use body wash for face wash.
face is okay for body wash got it?
Reply:yes you can, it's pretty effective because it's on the skin
Reply:yes. its designed for skin but could get expensive eventually.

Does the Muslim face veil purposely destroy the equality which is basic to human interaction?
"Unlike other forms of clothing, the niqaab (Muslim veil worn by women) purposely destroys the equality which is basic to human interaction — the veiled person can see you but you can’t see her."
What do you think?
Muslims often use the argument that communication occurs over the internet without the need for facial expressions (what d'ya think smilies are for ;) ), and that the blind are able to communicate perfectly well, but are these 2 forms of communication some sort of aspirational ideal?
Do most people enjoy communicating over the internet to having a face to face conversation?
Do blind people (not sure what the likelihood of a blind person reading this is..slim, I'd say..) truly feel that communication without the use of their eyes isn't in some way 'lacking'?
Many Thanks
Does the Muslim face veil purposely destroy the equality which is basic to human interaction?
no, it makes everyday halloween for muslims!
Reply:I had never thought about the Veil before; I believe You are absolutely Right; Thanks
Reply:Muslim women can communicate with non-Muslim women even without covering their face. Leave communicating with men face to face, to men.
Plus the face cover is not obligatory.
Reply:As a Muslim I find the face-veil a little (okay, alot) extreme. I totally respect women that cover their hair and dress modestly but the face, the eyes are windows to ur souls. How can u cover that? Plus how do u eat? Isn't it hard to breathe?
I still think it's a personal choice and u should only wear it out of a VERY strong volition to do so. Otherwise modest clothing/hijab shouls suffice. And even with hijab, if ur in a western country the rest of ur outfit should at least *kinda* conform with the norm. Muslims need to compromise tradition with style and non-Muslims need to accept our line of modesty in Islam.
Peace.
Reply:Not at all.
Do you see me now? Do I see you? Are we communicating?
Do you ever use the telephone? Do you see the person you are talking to? Does not seeing the person you are talking to mean you are not communicating?
I know Muslim women who cover their faces and work, with great success, as doctors, professors, and administrators. Believe me, it does not prevent communication.
Not at all!
Reply:Huh?
Since when is equality basic to human interaction?
For most of human existance, one's place in society was everything, the individual was meaningless.
And when it comes to societal palce, there is a hierarchy.
As to wanting to speak face to face, think about it. The technology to do streaming video over the computer has been around, and pretty cheap for years.
So which do people do more often...set up their cameras to chat with video with their friends, or do they use instant messaging?
Reply:Yes.

Which men's face product is best for keeping the face glowy, smooth and pimpile and marks free?
Need some kind of facial product to remove zits and marks and making the face more glowy(whity) and smooth
Which men's face product is best for keeping the face glowy, smooth and pimpile and marks free?
There is no perfect product. It's a process. I have come up with a process that works for me (sorry if it sounds gross in some parts
1. use toner for after shave. Never shave without closing your pores.
2. Wash your face every few hours
3. Use Clean and Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment on blemishes all day after washes.
4. At night, Wash your face well and put on Clean and Clear Dual Action Moisturizer
5. any time your face has a bad smell... around the nose, lips etc. Time to wash no matter what.
6. Don't touch your face with your hands without washing your hands. Thats a big no no. That's how germs get on your skin.
That's it. These products are available at any drug store.
Reply:there is a face wash called
basic face cleaner and it's not hard to find, and it does all the above that you want ad more.
and it has a nice manly smell to it,and i love to smell it on my hubby.
Reply:A good diet is the best for your skin.
Reply:my bf uses neutrogena (sp?) and I really like the way it makes his skin feel
Reply:who care if its for men. use the womans stuff. clinique makes a 3 step set for the face. go to Dillards and spend that 50 bucks if you so desire. otherwise, Purpose soap works well. you can get it at Wal Mart for about 3.50. good luck with that.
Reply:oil of olay has a cream you put on your face to remove and lighten blemishes i dont know the name of it but it put out by oil of olay, works good! nuetrogena has one out too

What is your face-washing regimen/routine and what products do you use?
How many times a day do you wash your face? When? What's your routine? What brands/products do you use? And importantly, how has it helped your face? Are you pleased with the results?
What is your face-washing regimen/routine and what products do you use?
I wash my face in the morning, when I get home from school, and at night.
I also use prescription cream in the morning and a different prescription at night.
My face wash is Biore pore minimizing wash.
I am please with the results :)
Reply:I just use St.Ives apricot scrub, followed up with Murads Hydrate/protect oil free Moisturizer AM.PM
Reply:i use clean and clear shine control morning burst facial cleanser to help wake me up in the morning. then i use the morning glow moisturizer before my makeup. and in the morning i use Klear Action deep pore cleanser, Kelar Action toner, and Klear Action Acne lotion. it's a acne system. it works pretty good especially during that time of month which is about the only time i break out. and i use the Klear Action stuff at night before i go to be. i also use some store brand daily cleanser like every other week to keep my pores clean.
Reply:I wash my face twice a day, once when I get up, and then once after it gets dark (I usually wear sunscreen, so I wait until evening to wash it off). I use Clean %26amp; Clear's foaming cleanser for sensitive skin. It seems to do the trick.
Washing my face every day helps control excess oil, so I don't get zits or a shiny face. It also makes my skin really soft, especially when I use a moisturizer afterwards (I really like Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing gel).
Hope I helped!

Does the Wave face cleaner really work?
hey i just got the wave last week and i don't no if its working. i only have 7 pads left to put on it to wash my face, and i'm gonna get new 1s, i was wondering if i should even bother buying more. i don't have very good skin. but its not terribe. only a little bit on my forehead, nose, and chin. barley any on it, and just barely any on my cheeks. its not that bad, but i want my face to be almost spotless! HELP!!!!! thanx! : )
Does the Wave face cleaner really work?
Depends on how long you have been using it-give it a good 3 weeks before you toss it. Nothing will working for everyone. There is no cure for acne, you can only control it. Proactiv won't work for everyone, and niether will the wave. I know ALOT of people who have used to wave and it has completely dried out thier face. Give it some more time, use a good mosterizer, and see if it is starting to help-don't expect your face to clear 100% in a couple of days. If not, try something else.
Good luck.
:)
EDIT: yes, use a mosterizer, defiently. Even if it's not drying your face out, mosterizer is vital to your skin and will help you in the long run. I use neutrogena heathly defense with SPF 40. (get SPF 30 of higher, it'll prevent skin cancer).
%26amp;%26amp;Give it a wekk or two more...Using it just one week will not help you! Buy more pads and give it a bit more time. The seven will only last 3 1/2 more days (i trust your are washing your face twice a day-if not, you should.)

Acne on my face ?
OK i have like a red scab from popping a pimple and without scaring my face how could i make it go away ? i have it on my chest and back too, how could i do my chest and back ? IM more worried bout my chest and back than my face.
Acne on my face ?
Stop picking acnes and put dekspanthenol cream on it .Or try to use some non steroidal anti-inflammatory creams .
Reply:Clearasile and STOP PICKING AT IT!
Reply:Leave it alone!! or it will scar-also drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, wash 2X a day and moisturize!
Reply:1. Find out when the acne started. Was it when you started gym class, or maybe when you switched shampoo? If the acne started right after you changed something (such as soap, conditioner, etc.) then you could possibly have a reaction. Your best bet is to either switch back, or switch again.
2. Look at where the acne is located. The most common areas are the face, back, arms, and even legs. Notice what the area is like. The major cause of acne is excess oil. If your acne's on your face, then do the following:
1. Keep your hair out of your face at ALL TIMES! Make sure that it's not touching your face or anything, because grease/oil could get into your skin and clog up the pores, causing pimples. So keep your hair out of your face 24/7 for a week. You can't let it down even once.
2. Wash your face three times a day. If you think you have a reaction to the soap, then switch or use a different type. Scrub with cold water and soap in the morning, when you get home from school or the afternoon, and before you go to bed. This should probably make it go away.
3. If the area where you have acne is really oily, try putting rubbing alcohol on it every night. Not too much though, because it makes it really dry really fast.
4. AVOID POPPING PIMPLES. It causes other pimples to come up and can permenantly damage your skin.
Reply:Just get really good face clenser. Have you heard of Proactice? Well, there is a cheaper thing that have the same ingredients as Proactive. It is called Klear Action. Also that brand makes a Blemish Zapper. Also some got advice, DON'T PICK AT YOUR ZITS.

Face and lotion?
After i exfoliate at night do i apply a moisturizer or so i do it when i wake up ? also is all face lotion the same for both sexs or do guys need different ones.. i know i am very active i play hockey 5 days a week, and i drink lots of water but want to start useing lotion too
Face and lotion?
make sure u don't exfoliate hard every night because that can really damage ur skin, do it 3 times a week max.
but yea women's skin is different than men's, and putting lotion on before bed is fine, make sure to apply it quickly after washing to lock the moisture in ur face.
You can't go wrong with kiehl's lotion by the way, they have different stuff for men and women, you might want to get a toner as well.
Reply:You should apply the moisturizer after each time you wash your face.
Yes, a womans' skin is much different from a man. I've noticed they have all sorts of lotions out for men these days. You'll have to wait for a male to respond to tell you which ones are good.
Personally, I like lotions with no chemicals, dyes, or perfumes.
Reply:You can appliy a moisturizer at night, in the morning or both. I would apply it after cleansing and exfoliating. Also, if you apply it in the morning, I would get one with SPF. There are special lotions made for men, but they are basically the same as womens.

Face rash?
lately i have been "breaking out" kind of, around my mouth and jaw. only thing is, its not normal "breaking out" its more like a rash of tiny bumps. its like my tiny hair folicals on my face are all becoming red bumps. its not like razor burn or anythhing - im a girl - but for some reason i have all these groups of red bumps! ive moisturized, ive dried it out, everything. its been there for 6 weeks! i think it started after i used a facemask a little too often i think. i dont normally have skin problems, im desperate! help me!
Face rash?
I think u should see a dermatologist to get the accurate diagnosis. If u don't want to do that. Maybe try some hydrocortisone which is sold in stores like walmart and target.

How can you draw a face out of pencil?
I LOVE to draw and faces are really tough, especially noses. And it's all in the shading, too. Is there a way I can draw a face well. stupid question but I just draw constantly. and also, how do you pant a face well. i use acrylic paints. How do i make it look realistic looking?
How can you draw a face out of pencil?
Just keep practicing and don't get discouraged. There are many tutorials online that you can take a look at, but in the end it's just personal experience that makes you better.
Things you should keep in mind when rendering though is
Shape
Edge
Value
Proportion
You should be thinking about these 4 things whenever you analyze your work.
Compare. You should be asking yourself constantly: Is this shadow I'm painting have the same shape as the shading in the reference? What kind of edge does this shadow have? Soft? Hard? Sharp? How about the value? Is it darker than the rest of the shadows or lighter?
If you constantly think about these things about all aspects of your drawing, it should be no problem. Tutorials on faces will help point you in the right direction of what you should be looking for when drawing. How to portray the nose, etc.
Reply:I paint portraits with oils now but have done the pencil and acrylic thing. While taking an art class is one way to speed getting better faster that's not the route i took. I simply went to the local library and checked out every ''how to'' book they had, drawing books, painting books, you name it i checked it out, and learned it that way. I have a regular job and my painting is starting to bring in it's own money. I don't paint and sell my paintings, i get hired to paint what they want and my online portfolio let's them know how diverse i have taught myself to be. Do your homework, study and practice, and then pratice some more. My art can be checked out at hellosanantonio.com under artist name''Guerro'' in the local artist section
Reply:Well, then practice shading!!
Its all in practicing.
I don't think faces are tough to draw, since I draw them all the time. Others don't like drawing faces, but are good at bodies, which I suck at.
You can use that guide thing with proportions, found in basic drawing books. Y'know what I sayin', G?

Face discoloration?
i have face discoloration and its probably from the sun. my original color is very light brown but some places are lighter such as my cheeks. right now im using nothing but this product called cedaphil. im really embarrased to go outside. i look wierd. woud nuetrogena help. or anyother product
Face discoloration?
Sun does cause skin to have darken spots called age spots and we develop more as we get older. Cetaphil is a mild cleanser and adds moisture. If this problem is really a concern to you I would say to see a dermatologist they can write a rx for triluma or tazorac gel or cream it will take 8 to 12 weeks to really see the differance but will be worth it. When you also go outside use a broad spectrum sun block to avoid more damage. Hope this helps, Good Luck
Reply:i use a mild skin lightening soap plus a hih spf sunscreen..
that would be your best bet too. :-)

Why does my face get dry when i use moisturizer and why do my lips get dry when i use chapstick?
Whenever I use moisturizer, my face gets really dry...like dryer than when I first used it. I've tried olay, eucerin, and clinique...all with similar results. I've tried both oil free and with oil, as well as both spf and non-spf. Isn't moisturizer supposed to replenish moisture to make your face less dry? What can I use to cure this? Also, I'm assuming this is very similar, whenever I use chapstick (i've tried burts bees and chapstick brands, mentholated and non) my lips get really dry and even more chapped...for example, if i use it when my lips are barely chapped, they get very chapped within the week...i'm not sure why. Any help is very much appreciated!
Why does my face get dry when i use moisturizer and why do my lips get dry when i use chapstick?
Same happens to me.
All I can say is, it seems as though the skin forgets how to take care of itself.
Kind of like the way that all these germ-avoiding parents have children with much weaker immune systems, because the bodies don't have to fight as many illnesses?
Yeah, well, the skin that never has to heal itself, gets lazy.
Just my best guess.
I didn't use moisturizer till i turned 28. I was fine without- now I can't go one day or my face will feel way too tight and I'll put little creases in my skin with just one smile.
Reply:I lived in Alaska for a couple of years and I had very dry skin on my face/lips. I used oil of olay on my face at night and it took care of my dry skin. I don't use chapstick because it's like using a candle on my lips. I go to a herb store and use there lip products. Or I use Blistex Silk and shine. I would try it.
Reply:use Vaseline (like the petroleum jelly)
on your face...or the dry areas. also on your
lips...it works GREAT.
if moisturizer isn't working...it may be a dietary
problem. make sure you drink at LEAST 8
glasses of water each day. i promise, your skin
will feel and look so much better
good luck =)
Reply:Don't use those. I use vasaline on my lips and dry areas on my face. It works!
Reply:If they use petroluim bases in their compounds these will actually pull moisture from your skin. Especially the lip products. Athough I do have to say that I suffered from dry lips and patches of dry skin on cheeks for years. I found out that I was anemic. So after taking an iron supplement and chromium to improve glucose levels and help iron reach the skin I now don't need to wear anything on my lips and I just use my mary kay skin care and I love it... I am no longer told "stop picking your lip" by my big sister.........anyway thats all...

Face book question?...?
How does one know if they have made someone's Top Friend's request on face book?...*Is there a different message that one will receive when someone sends them an application to accept his/her Top Friends invite?...
*I'm just curious. I get people sending me Top Friends invitation, BUT I don't know if they want me to use the application or if **they are adding me on as a Top friend, and waiting for my approval.
Face book question?...?
They are inviting you to also use the application. This is a 3rd party app not developed by FBook. To my knowledge, once you get the application, you don't need your friends' approval to change what order you have them on your profile, so the messages you are getting are your friends recruiting you to use it too.

Why does my face sting when I sweat?
IF I am outside mowing or anything that invloves sweating, my face starts stinging like crazy. Nowhere else does it sting just my face and I was wondering why??????
Why does my face sting when I sweat?
If you shave daily, your face has small microscopic nicks which sting when the salt in your perspiration strikes them.
Reply:Are you shaving too close before these activities?
Reply:This may sound a bit far-fetched but it could be caused by a food allergy or mineral/vitamin deficiency.

I had hyperhidrosis and other symptoms for many years. I tried all the usual treatments including ETS surgery, prescriptions, antiperspirants, botox, etc. The surgery was most helpful but several years later hyperhidrosis began to return.
This year I was diagnosed with a few food allergies and celiac disease. I eliminated wheat, dairy, and sugar from my diet. I stopped all prescriptions and began taking supplements for B vitamins and magnesium.

Reply:using a body bar soap can dry out your skin, and some lotions can clog up pores. scrubing to hard and too long can irritate your skin, causing it into breakout. you have to find a natural product to use. (there are many in shaws and walmart) here's some things to help you:
mix baking soda and witch hazel/or water together until it comes to a good constancy, and then spread on your face and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. these two things are very inexpenisve and it's very easy to do since there is only two ingerdients. toothpaste is good also. put only a little bit before you good to sleep. some people use this as a mask but don't do it! it can change your skin tone and make your face discolored. aloe vera helps scars lighten and less noticable. use the gel or the real thing. try to buy a cleanser that works for you, and when you wash your face, open your pores with hot water (not to hot, or it will dry out your skin) and massage it gently into your skin. the use cold water at the end to close you pores. the smaller your pores are, the less likely you're prone to pimples. an egg yoke is good also. i used this when i had pimples. just take the egg yoke (the yellow part) and leave it on your face for 10-15 minutes and rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with cold water. keep your hair out of your face because the oils in your hair could go into your pores. change you sheets because they're are trapped with dirt, oils, etc. zinc (type of vitamin) is the one of the best things you can use to get rid of pimples. you can buy these almost about any large store (such as walmart or shaws.) have one tablet per day and try to cut down the junk food and replace it with vegetables and fruits

Face highlighter?
okay im so confused on what a face highlighter/illuminator does. i have medium brown skin tone, anyone knows what kind of highlighter to use?
Face highlighter?
i love to put some shimmer in T-zone and chew, coz' it can tone up my face and make my sky look more Perl
Reply:Powder highlighter by MAC.
Reply:you can check with a local Mary kay Consultant. She may be able to help you.
Reply:you will love benefit high beam. play around with a drugstore brand first to get the hang of it before you spend 20 dollars on benefit. try revlon skin lights in one of the bronze tones (they have fair, pink and bronze). i apply it above my cheekbones for highlights.
Reply:just go to the MAC counter.
Reply:A highlighter is used on the face to help light reflect from an area. Usually drawing away from an inperfection. I use Estee Lauder Illuminator as a concelear or under my eyes to detract from the circles and blemishes. I think it is a great product. Sorry I am not sure where to find something like this for women of color.

Face weight?
whats the best way to slim down the face.
Face weight?
You burn more calories than you eat, and you will lose weight in the order that your body loses weight. There is no controlling it. The good news is that most people lose weight in the face first. Many women lose weight in the face and chest first.
Exercise like you are trying to lose weight. That is your only option besides some type of cosmetic surgery.
Reply:You can't slim the face without slimming the rest of your body. When you burn more calories than you eat, then you will lose weight -- including the weight in your face.
However, if you have a naturally round face or full cheeks, that may be just the way you are made. In that case, you can't change it without surgery.

Face of Nature...How do you honor nature and work with it's energies?
How did you learn the many different plants, elements, animals around you?
Depending on where we live the many different forms of nature can be very different. Some of us will have lots of rain, snow, earthquakes, floods, forests, sand, mountains, lakes, oceans, rivers, ect ect. How do you adapt to the world around you when it comes to your magick?
What myths and dieties are associated in your area?
Is there any ancient sacred places near by?
Do you have garden, house plants, or buy your own herbs and does it make a difference?
Face of Nature...How do you honor nature and work with it's energies?
I honor Nature by respecting it and trying to conserve it. I work with it's energies by observing their natural flow and gently manipulating it.
I learned about them by studying and researching them.
You just adapt. Change is certain and constant so we are all in a perpetual state of adaptation.
I don't know of any myths or deities associated in the particular part of Texas just the ones that call to me.
If there are sacred places they would most likely be Native American and I don't know where they would be. There are places that I would consider sacred but then I think all Nature is so....
I do not have a garden...yet (I just moved), my kitties tend to eat my house plants but I do have two live planted aquariums. I buy most of my herbs but I do try to use fresh or dry my own when I can. It has not made a difference to my knowledge.

How do i keep my face clear?
ok my face isnt too bad, but everyonce in awhile i get some marks on my face and they can be really annoying. But one thing i do have is black pores on my nose. i wash my face 2 atleast twice a day with "irish spring" soap. but nothing seems to work on the black spots. any advice on what to use or do?
How do i keep my face clear?
Seriously, you are definitely going to want to stop with the soap. It is very harsh and can strip your skin of the moisture it needs. What you need to do is continue washing your face twice a day and then use a good exfoliator 2-3 times a week. What it does is help get the dead skin cells off and open up those blackheads so the debris can come out. You can always go to Sephora or even Walgreens and look at the different skincare lines that fit your budget, Oh, and don't forget the sunblock. Good luck.
Reply:Buy a gentle face cleanser made for oily/acne-prone skin to be on the safe side. Try it once a day, make sure it doesn't irritate your skin, then try upping it to twice a day. After you work out or get sweaty, clean your face. Also, try a acne treatment gel from the store to prevent future breakouts. It doesn't sound that bad, so just keep your face clean and treat it with the gel before you go to bed :) They have versions of these things for men, so no worries.
Reply:try biore pore strips they pull out blackheads
http://www.drugstore.com/search/search_r...
Reply:Have u heard of those "Biore Black Head" sheets that REALLY do remove them, most of them anyways,? You lay it over the area and then peel it off and it literally pulls the black head out with it! They are amazing! besides that- be sure to keep your pillow cases extremely clean, keep your hands off your face ( don't rest your face in hands when studying etc...) and maybe switch to a soap meant for clearer pores- like Aveeno For Acne etc...
Reply:black pores don't come out by only washing, it's a lie! yes cleansing can reduce them but doesn't REMOVE them..go for peelers or something
Reply:When approaching acne (or any face care routine, really), you must remember the basics;
Cleanse Gently, disinfect, exfoliate, and moisturize if needed.
Remember that so called 'mens lines' are complete cosmetics doublespeak (to put this into prospective, L'Oreal's mens line has a fairly decent moisturizer for $18. The exact same moisturizer is put into a smaller squeeze tube, and marketed to women for $27. This kind of example happens more frequently than you think). Another problem with the mens lines is that they usually contain quite irritating ingredients (Peppermint, Citrus, Alcohol, etc.).
I'm going to give you a bit of an overview of a skin-care regime, step-by-step, that should clear up your skin.
STEP ONE: Cleansing
A cleanser isn't going to get "into" your pores, it's physically impossible (If it could get "into" our pores, our faces would be bleeding. They'd be clear, but they'd be bleeding) What it can do is wash way excess oils and dirt. It shouldn't leave your face dry for more than a few minutes after cleansing. Stay away from anything in bar form.
There are 2 problems with bar soap. The first being that most are tallow/fat based, which has the ability to clog pores. Secondly, they clean TOO well, leaving you skin horribly dry. You know that horribly tight feeling you get after washing with bar soap, where you move your mouth open slightly and you can feel it around your eyes? You might think that you want all oil stripped from your face, but in the long run it's not beneficial in the least.
Another "Big" thing with acne care is cleansers with a chemical exfoliant in them (BHA's and AHA's). The problem with medicated cleansers like those is that all the medication is being washed down the drain before it can get to work on your skin. Sometimes the label will tell you to leave it on your face for 1-3 minutes for it to become effective, but the problem with that notion is that while the chemical exfoliant (or disinfectant) is getting to work on your face, the irritation factor is also upped because the cleansing ingredients are being left on your face far too long than necessary.
Thus, you want an exfoliant and disinfectant free, water-soluble cleanser that doesn't contain fragrance, irritants, or coloring agents (all of those spell trouble for skin). An excellent one you can get at most drugstores is Cetaphil. There are 2 types, the first is a non-foaming gel cleanser that's best for someone with very sensitive skin. The second is a foaming gel based cleanser, and is great for someone with oily skin. They both come in generous-sized pump bottles and retail for about $15.
Don't use fingernails, or jab at your skin while cleansing to "Loosen" a whitehead. It's not going to "loosen" anything, and you'll end up tearing your skin, causing more problems.
STEP ONE b: Manual exfoliating
The only way to get rid of blackheads is to exfoliate, either manually (as in a cleanser with small abrasive particles), or chemically (using an acid in the effective PH). You don't need a separate cleanser to manually exfoliate. One of the best, most inexpensive manual exfoliants is baking soda mixed with cetaphil. Simply mix about a heaping teaspoon of baking soda with about 3 pumps of cleanser in your palm, and blend to form a paste. Then apply this paste to your face, and rub gently for 30 seconds at the most and rinse.
Blackhead clearing strips are a complete waste of time. They're simply a hairspray-like film on a pad. What you see on it after ripping it off your skin might impress you, but you must remember that all you're doing is ripping off the top layer of skin. You can't "pull" out a blackhead, it (again) is another physically impossible idea. You might "see" the blackhead on the strip, but all you're seeing is the top layer of skin. The actual irruption is left untouched, and will resurface again.
STEP TWO: Toning (If desired)
The whole wording behind a toner is absurd, as a toner wont tone anything. That being said, a toner can be a great addition to a skin-care routine for several reasons. The first being that it can remove excess bits of cleanser if you haven't been too diligent about rinsing, and second, if it's equipped with good water-binding agents and anti-oxidants it can take the place of a moisturizer with very oily skin. A toner isn't necessary, but if you can find a soothing one with the aforementioned traits, it's an option to consider. it's also great for use as a mens aftershave, as most mens 'after shave' products can contain up to 60% alcohol (alcohol is a BIG no no). A good, alcohol free toner is quite hard to find. One that you might consider is the Neutrogena alcohol free toner. To warn you, it does contain a lot of fragrance. And although it isn't offensive in the least, it can possibly spell irritation to some very sensitive types.
STEP THREE: Disinfect
To understand acne, you have to know what causes it. There are mainly two causes. The first cause is an excess build-up of skin cells that mix with sebum (oil), thus clogging the pore. Inside, the pore is still sloughing off excess skin cells. These cells have no means of getting out, and a buildup begins. The second cause is acne-causing bacteria. This bacteria gets into a pore, and irregular cell-sloughing begins. The pore gets clogged, and infection begins.
This is why you can't just "zap" a pimple, because -believe it or not- what you're seeing on your face has already been going on for 3-4 weeks.
Disinfecting is a big part of an acne regime. It not only can eliminate what you already have on your skin (for acne), but it plays a big part in preventing further breakouts.
Now, when you think disinfecting, you probably think grain (rubbing) alcohol. The problem with grain alcohol is that it's a pretty in-efficient disinfectant (once it's applied and kills a bit of bacteria, it's neutralized, just leaving irritation in its wake). it's far too drying (and irritating) to facial skin.
One of the tried and true methods of disinfecting is Benzoyil peroxide. It stays on your skin for a longer period of time, and it poses less risk of irritation). It comes in 2.5%, 5%, and 10% concentrations. Start at the 5% concentration (the 2.5% is hard to find) and work your way up if you don't see results in about 4 weeks. Apply it to your skin quickly, but not sloppy. Remember to rub it in very well, because if you don't (and you use it before heading out) it can leave a faint white crust where you've applied it (and no one wants to look like they've been drooling all day). Be careful not to get it in or around the eye area, and wash your hands after applying it (Also, be careful to not get it on your hair, as it can bleach hair at the 10% concentration). It's really not as dangerous as it sounds, but it's always good to take cautious measures. A great benzoyil peroxide gel is Clean%26amp;Clear's PersaGel. It comes in 5% and 10% concentrations. About $7 Canadian
Note: The only downside to benzoyil peroxide is a possible drying effect. Some people are more prone to it, while others can slather it on and not get any dryness at all. If you do get dryness, simply apply an emollient moisturizer (such as Avon's Hydrofirming bio6 night creme (ranging in price, about $12). It actually compares to some very expensive moisturizers) over the affected areas, after all other products have been applied.
Wait for the gel to dry, then
STEP FOUR: Chemically Exfoliate (on alternate days)
Chemical exfoliation has many upsides; you wont run the risk of over-exfoliating, it's more efficient than manual exfoliation, and it can be more effective than manual exfoliation. There are two types of chemical exfoliants, Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA's) and Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHA's). Alpha Hydroxy Acids (such as glycolic acid and lactic acid) are water-soluble. They're good for exfoliating (re-surfacing) the top layer of skin, but they're poor blackhead fighters due to the inability to penetrate the pore. Beta Hydroxy Acid (Salicylic acid is the only BHA at the moment) is sebum (oil) soluble. It has the ability to penetrate the pore and eliminate blackheads. Beta Hydroxy Acid is a bit of a bastard twin to Aspirin, so it shares some of it's anti-inflammatory properties, which can actually make it less irritating than an AHA. That's not to say that BHA is painless, as it does cause slight stinging. However, It's the ONLY irritation you should have to live with when it comes to skin care.
AHA's come in 5%-10% concentrations, and BHA comes in a 0.5%-2% concentration. As with Benzoyil peroxide, start low and work your way up.
Thus, I'd suggest using BHA. Concentrate on the blackheads and pimples on your skin, but also make sure to apply a thin layer over most of the face (the eye area is obviously off limits for this). With continual application, your blackheads should decrease dramatically, and acne scars from previous irruptions should be lightened (or eliminated completely). There are 2 types of AHA and BHA products; Moisturizers with the acid suspended in them, or gels with the acid suspended in them. For application, I prefer a gel with the BHA suspended in it, as you can apply it over areas that don't need a moisturizer (the T zone, for instance), and then you only have to moisturize the dry areas of your face. Sadly, I haven't been able to find a good BHA gel that's not in an alcohol base, so I've had to settle for Neutrogena's Rapid Clear Acne Eliminating Gel. It contains 2% salicylic acid, and it is quite drying, but it has really helped with the blackheads and acne scaring. For both sides of the face, apply about 2 pea-sized amounts, blending in well. For about $12 Canadian.
Again, wait for it to dry, and then
STEP FIVE: Moisturize (if desired)
If you've got some dry patches of skin (like your cheeks, for instance) use a good moisturizer. The makers of Cetaphil also make Nutraderm, a great lotion also in a generous pump bottle for about $15. It's not always available at drug stores, but I've seen it being carried at Safeway, and even some 7-11's.
Simply smooth it over the dry areas of the skin.
Reply:Use a different soap. I used to use a cheap soap and my nose and chin were basically pimple after pimple and I switched my soap to Olay. My brothers use it too. It really works.
Reply:Read tips on Treating Acne, Skincare and Home Remedies on this site
Reply:I suggest using an oil-free face wash. Neutrogena's oil free acne wash is good. Phisoderm is decent as well. Afterward, put on some moisturizer. If your skin is oily and has big pores, use a pore minimizing and oil-free moisturizer such as Biore's Pore Minimizing Moisturizer. If your skin is dry, get something like Aveeno's. If you have some pimples, get the Neutrogena benzoyl peroxide (it's 2.5% which won't dry out your skin) %26amp; put it on your pimples, or if you want, a light coat all over your skin. VERY light coat, though. If you have zits, you can put more on the zit. You should do this twice a day. I'd advice to experiment a bit and see how it works. Also, get an exfoliator face wash (such as St. Ives Apricot scrub) and do this a few times a week. It will help take the dead skin cells off your face and help minimize pores. Get a toner, like clean %26amp; clear's pore minimizing toner and use this on your nose maybe twice a day prior to using moisturizer. Yup...
Reply:Cut off you skin, make a mask out of it and sell it to Marilyn Manson. He lovez those 4L. BFF!
Reply:When approaching acne (or any face care routine, really), you must remember the basics;
And although it isn't offensive in the least, it can possibly spell irritation to some very sensitive types.

my face looks horrible..it is dry ,dull and ruff looking..i also have acne marks ..how do i get it to looks alive again?
Face looks terrible?
cleanse, tone and moustourse. a regular routine with ur skin should help it look better. u can also buy creams to reduce acne marks u can get them in a chemist r even supermarket
Reply:Use a 3-step system of cleansing, toning, and moisturizing twice a day. Clinique has a 3-step system for every skin type - it's a bit pricey but the products are generously sized and last for months, even with twice-daily use. They've also been around for decades so the system is tried and true.
Once or twice a week - and I find that this makes all the difference - exfoliate with a gentle scrub after cleansing but before toning.
Reply:Wash your face in the morning, use a toner, then a moisturizer. At night wash your face again, use a gentle exfoliater (not one with rough particles in it), then a night cream may be beneficial if your skin is dry. If it starts getting too oily again, cut out the night time moisturizer. Your skin repairs when you sleep, so never go to bed with make-up on, or dirty face. Also, what you are ingesting has a lot to do with your skin. Drink plenty of water, cut back on caffiene and greasy food or high fat foods.

Why is my face red?
I'm only 20 years old and my face has never broke out soo much. Little zits would just appear out of nowhere and the scars would just stay there forever. In high school, i would have 2 or 3 big zits and the scars would go away. I live in a dampy, kinda rainy climate and lately, we've been having good weather, very sunny - put i try to stay away from the sun and always apply sunscreen?
why is my face still red??? HELP!
Why is my face red?
it might be from the sunscreen your using. You may have sensitive skin. Try using a sunscreen that is oil free.
Reply:See the doc as you may have rosacea.
Reply:Have you been to a doctor? You may have rosacea which is very common but has nothing to do with zits. There are treatments for rosacea so ask your doc.

Wash your face with OXY. It really keeps your skin clean. For normal, it would just completely dry out your face. But for oily, this thing is a life saver. I have normal skin, but on hot summer days when I do get oily, this thing washes my face clean. (This can be found at Walgreen's for around 5 bucks, a little less, a little more. I don't remember exactly.)
and...
Toner. Use it after you wash your face. It'll tighten your pores and remove oil, for the time being...

Carry in your purse a packet of blotting sheets. These compact, and colorless sheets suck up oil throughout the day. These are a natural girl's favorite. (Can be found at drugstores and department stores. For customer reviews on blotting sheets and everything else, go to www.epinions.com)
or...
Carry a pressed powder compact. The powder will absorb oil and tone down a little redness. Like blotting sheets, it will give a matte finish. Careful though, it'll look chalky if you put too much on look caked on in hot humid weather.
I hope I have helped!
Reply:Clean and Clear has these oil remover pads taht are in a a very thin pack that you can carry with you throughout the day. They get rid of oil very well. There is also this brand, Oxy, that has cleanig pads, but they are in a box type thing, but they are great to keep in your gym locker or school locker. They works, but they do make your face feel kind of sticky. I'd go withthe Clean and Clear pads, but the Oxy also works.
Reply:Clear and clear makes these little blue oil blotting wipes that soak up the oil on your skin. You can also use a liquid toner a couples times a day.
Reply:You CAN'T get rid of oily skin. You're stuck with it, it's in your genes. Sorry!
However, you can try the Proactive system, or a three step acne system by L'oreal or Clean and Clear. They have those at the drugstore.
Also try good blotting papers, from the Body Shop, Sally Beauty (Palladio makes good ones) because they have a bit of powder on their sheets, and it really takes away the oil.
Wash your face with a good acne wash. Neutrogena, Aveeno, Clean and Clear, Noxema has lots. Wear a mattifying (it takes away the shine and absorbs the oil, yet still moisterises) moisteriser. Garnier Pure is a good one.
You could also use a blotting powder. MAC has one.

You could also use a blotting powder. MAC has one.
Face tan help?
Pls any recomendations for a face tan cream. I dont want to use tinted moisturiser, i want a cream/lotion that build gradually and doesnt wash off...therefore i can just put it say 2/3 times a week.
My usual moisturiser i will apply on top of course. Thanks guys.
Face tan help?
Try L'oreal tanning towelettes for the face. they also make them for your body. They work fast and give a natural look.

When washing ur face....?!?
i use Murad acne wash
should i put hot water on my face before useing it
also should i put hot water on my face before exfoliating?!
and any other tips for skin care/acne?
When washing ur face....?!?
Don't use hot water! Use warm water. If you use hot water, not only do you risk the obvious burning yourself, but hot very is very drying to skin. Your skin will compensate with this dryness you created by creating more oil, which is what you don't want. On the opposite side, cold water won't wash away soap as thoroughly, so warm is the ideal.
If you put warm water on your face beforehand, it'll open up pores and allow products to penetrate deeper, so it's a good idea. Cold will constrict your pores, so again, go warm!
Oh, and yes glycolic and salicylic acid both unclog pores by sloughing or "eating" off dead skin cells and exfoliating you.
Reply:i use murad too! :DD
i just use warm water and rinse with murad....
i think it works best.

Duac Gel, what to wash face with?
What do you guys wash your face with before applying DUAC?
Ive been using neutragena acne face wash.
Ive been breaking out worse than I was on proactive...but its only the first week...do you think its the face wash , or should I give it more time?
Duac Gel, what to wash face with?
I can so relate to your problem. I used to have crazy acne along with sensitive skin. I tried evrything from Neutrogena, Clearasil, P-Active, Retin-A and a host of other things. Finally a dermatologist suggested I go to www.bynouveau.com/5383. I like the whole glycolic system, but the facewash works magic.
Reply:I've been using duac for a while now
I just use soap and water to wash my face beforehand. I wouldn't suggest using a medicated product BEFORE the duac, that's bad.
Be sure to use a moisturizer too when on that stuff.
I usually use Neutrogena oil free spf 15 when I wake up in the morning (duac at night). It's a good balance, and what my dermatologist recommended.
The problem with that stuff is it can dry out your skin too much. You can afford to skip a day once in a while =)

Face Problems?
Ok, so my face has gone wack! It will not clear up for the life of me, I am on Proactive and it still is bearly clearing up, and while it is every so slowly clearing up, it can't cause I always have new break outs! What should I do?
Face Problems?
Proactive is terrible!!! I used it for 3 months and it never-ever got clear. And if you miss one night or day...that's it, your face will break out like crazy. I recommend you get some type of mask...something with sea salt in it. I heard it was good and I'm gonna try it soon. Every time I go to the ocean, my face clears up. So I'm pretty sure that this will work. Right now I'm using neutrogena oil-free acne wash and an oil-free sunscreen for my face. It's not great, but it works to keep it kinda under control. Good luck =)...I feel for you lol
Reply:i stopped using my face cleaning stuff and some how my face cleared up then i used it again i got new breakouts so it just might be the whatever is in the proactive stuff

Can washing your face actually make get bumps??
I wash my face nightly with Clean and Clear Mild Cleanser and I've been noticing my face has been breaking out with these little bumps...its really annoying. Somebody Help!!!
Can washing your face actually make get bumps??
I have the same problem. In one of my Microbiology classes I learned that when one washes his/her face too much or with aggressive soaps (those soaps that are not neutral, that is their pH is different from the skin pH) one will develop bumps. The reason for this is that the NORMAL, HARMLESS bacteria that live on your skin 24/7 die out and can no longer protect you from the bad bacteria (the good ones get out of balance). Also, if you are using make-up products be careful because these offer a higly nutritious breeding ground for the bad bacteria. I heard that manufacturers put bactericidal against the bad bacteria in make-up products but that after, say 6 months or so, the bactericidal becomes old and that bottles get so contaminated that it is better to throw them away and buy new, fresh products. This is true for mascara too (can lead to eye infections and such). Pretty gross isn't it... In my opinion it is better not to over-wash the skin. A dermatologist may be able to prescribe some special lotion. If you are planning to get pregnant though inform the doctor because some skin lotions containing ingredients such as retinol which are absorbed through the skin and SHOULD NOT be used during pregnancy since it is deleterious during fetal development. Hope this helps.
Reply:Find an all natural soap there may be chemicals in the soap you use that causes that.
Reply:yup. you are stripping the natural oils out of your skin . Its begging for hydration. Best products for skin is with a company that I found. They forbid advertising so all I can do is offer a way for you to contact me and with an open mind you make up your own mind if you want to try this catalog company http://www.momexecs.com/cgi-bin/team.cgi...
Reply:Sounds like an allergy to Clean and Clear. Try a hypoallergenic cleanser, free of dye, alcohol (acetyl alcohol, etc.) and perfumes.
Or you might like to try a bar of oatmeal soap. It's natural, and it scrubs your skin very effectively.

What can I wash my face with in the shower that won't dry me out?
I know this sounds like some sort of set-up for a stupid commercial, but...
I'm a guy, and I usually have washed my face with whatever bar soap I've got handy in the shower, like Dial or Irish Spring. But my whole face has started to dry up and flake. I used a roommate's bodywash with a moisturizer and it seemed to help. What can I use to wash my face in the shower that will keep me moisturized for the entire day that's inexpensive and readily available at any major grocery store or drugstore? Thanks.
What can I wash my face with in the shower that won't dry me out?
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!
Reply:HEY!!!...well you used to have the same problem except iam a girl...but anyway the product i use is clean and clear DEEP ACTION CREAM CLEANSER: it cleans deep down to pores while mosterizing you can get it at walmart!!!!....the really small bottles are 97 cents!!!...the bigger ones are more expensive but i buy the small ones it lasts a week!!!...trust me you wont regret this decision if you buy it!!!

Reply:I would try Dove bar soap. It keeps your skin very moisturized and smooth. I've found that most Dove products (lotions, soaps, creams, etc) have always helped to keep skin very moisturized and smooth without getting oily. Try various products - they can get a little expensive sometimes, but if you want the best results it will cost a bit more. Good luck! :)
Reply:you dont need a product to mousturize with, just buy some face lotion and apply it after you get out of the shower.
i reccomend oil of olay, unscented.

Sounds kind of oval to me.. hard to tell because your measurements are specific as to width or height.. it might be better for you to ask this question again but either post a picture or post more accurate measurements..
This link might help you with determining it, it shows all of teh different head shapes, just match one to your own

Face is so broken out?
My face has been really broken out lately. I use Murad cleanser, gel, and lotion and for make-up I use the Loreal mineral make-up. I'm thinking that Murad just doesn't work for me. Proactive used to work, but then it quit. What's the best in store mineral make-up? I don't want to get one that you have to order.
Any tips are appreciated!

anything with sylasic acid is very good for you..or anyting with benzoyle peroxide...
Reply:What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.
Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:

P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She's sharing her story at her site:

The good-looking face reflects a kind heart blessed by heaven/God. Do you mostly agree?
Through my observation, I notice that most good -looking people, other than being slightly confident of their looks, are mostly nice people with kind hearts. This leads me to think that they are blessed with good features because their kind-heartedness deserve the good-looking face. On the other hand, I've observed that many average or below average-looking people do seem to"deserve" the kind of look because of their personality.
What do you think? Is it mostly true or false that a good-looking face do to a large extent reflect a kind heart blessed by God/heaven?
I'm not trying to over-generalise. It's just part of my observation.

Most of the pretty girls I know are stuck up conceited snobs. A pretty face has nothing to do with whats inside.

I think looks have nothing to do with their disposition. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure that most would agree that good-looking people are generally nastier than average-looking or unattractive people.
To try and insinuate that good looks are gods way of rewarding someone?
WOW!

Lose 5lbs and face fat in 2 weeks?
I am 5'6, 126lbs and I want to lose 5lbs in 2 weeks, but especially the fat on my face. I am pretty thin, but I think losing 5lbs will help trim my face because it has recently gotten fatter since I gained about 1 or 2 lbs. I want to simply use dietary means to lose the weight, because cardio never seems to help me.
Lose 5lbs and face fat in 2 weeks?
RUNNING HELPS AND STAYING ON LIQUID LUNCH AND DINNER HELPS! trust me i lost 15lbs in 3 weeks
Reply:well very possible to do that
since you just want to loose 5lbs just go and eat lots of fruits
and fruit VA but do this only for these 2 weeks because any longer than that youll have to deal with not enough protiens
youll loose up to 5-6 lbs in 2 weeks hope i helped =D
Reply:You cant target one area for weight loss
To lose 5lb, cut down on the size of your meals, eat more fruit and vegetables, cut out high fat/high carb foods and try not to snack.
Hopefully some of the weight you lose will come off your face

Face tanning?
When you are tanning, whether in the sun or in the tanning bed, if you have foundation on your face that doesn't have spf in it, does it still block your skin and prevent it from getting tanner? or does it not make a difference?
thanks
Face tanning?
If it does not have an SPF then your fine. However if you have sensitive skin, it could make you break out with the combination of sun and makeup. Other then that your face will get tan! i usually always take my makeup off though.
Reply:it really is a good idea to take it off, even if it doesnt have an spf, because you will get better color if you do.
Reply:For better results you should take off any make up as it acts as a barrier on your skin.

Face lifts is it worth it how much does it hurt how long does it las?
thinking of having a face lift (full monty as they call it). are the results good - whats the discomfort like - how long does it last.
Face lifts is it worth it how much does it hurt how long does it las?
well i do know its not worth the money
try botox
Reply:Listen try this..Get a vacuum cleaner and stick the pipe on the top of ure head...Then put it on full suck ..This will pull all the skin upwards and u just tie that skin with a nice scrunchy band or wear a hat to hide it..Then when its time to go to bed all u have to do is release and let it all sag down again..

Face masks?
i already use a witch hazel lemon mask
but what are some home made mask i can use for my face
i tend to have kind of oily skin
Face masks?
For oily skin with pimples - Mix 2 tsp.Fuller's earth with 2 tsp. of chilled rose water. Make it a paste and apply on the face with brush. After 20 minutes rinse with warm water. Do once a week.
Tonic for oily skin - MIx egg white and honey. Beat well and add 1 tsp. lemon juice. Apply the mixture on your face and neck for 10 minutes.
Anti-wrinkle mask - Mix 2 tsp. of oat meal and halfcup of milk. Boil it till it cooks well. Add 2 tsp. of olive iol. Allow it to cool and apply to your face. After 20 minutes and rinse with luke warm water. You can do it once in every other day.
Reply:No idea about home made masks but if you tend to have oily skin id greatly recommed the peel-off masks. They dry on ur skin and then become like a thin layer of second skin which u take off. Pores are cleaned deep and it makes fun :D
Reply:first of all add 1 tsp of chandan powder(sandal wood powder)(glow),
strawberry juice(bleaching agent+scrub+reduces oiliness),
and little bit of fullers earth(multani mitti) mix well apply for 20 min
wash with cold water
then put some moisturizer for oily skin

How do get rid of a scabby face?
I never had many BIG spots. But i get many tiny blackhead and a few big ones. The problem is i never wait for them to be fully grown and pick them as soon as i feel a little bump deep in my skin. 2 nights ago i had a bit of a picking spree which has resulted me in having ALOT of scabs of my face. Its the weekend so i decided to devote it to fixing my face before i go back to school because i refuse to go out with my face like this. I look very disgusting. Do you have any ideas to get my face inleast scab free in 2 days?

Face turns red when excercising?
My face always turns bright red and all sweaty (well of course sweat...) when im exercising, especially when i put my head down, and it's super embarrassing, is there anything i can do to prevent i from happening?
Face turns red when excercising?
yoga might reduce that slightly, if properly utilized. or t'ai chi. Try to relax as much of your body as possible when exercising - i think you're tensing or clenching muscles that you shouldn't be. Loosen up your breathing a little.
Reply:If your working hard enough your face will turn red. I believe this happens to everyone?
Just curious, are the people you see that dont have red faces, are they REALLY working it?
Reply:The good news is, this is just the effect of increased blood-flow. It does look different on everyone.
It's funny how people like to point little things like that out. But hey - they've only been around a few years so anything seems new to them, right?
Now, there are times when a red face can kind of be funny. Like if you've ever said something nice to a boy and caught his face turn red... ;-) You just had a physiological impact on him! If you see his face is red, he probably has no clue what to say. :-P
I like going to lunch with co-workers. Whenever my boss has a cocktail he lights up red. Bright, glowing red. I don't mean he blushes - I mean he looks like his head is going to pop off! He can obviously feel the heat and gets nervous for awhile. It's funny.
All the Japanese girls I work with have the same effect but even just a sip of beer and they just turn soooo red. That's pretty funny. Still, it's cute. They're just plain cute - so the fact that one might get a little chuckle off it is likely in good humor.
I could be wrong on this one, but at least with persistence and intelligence I think confidence (not arrogance) is a good counter-balance. Just be confident, happy.
And keep it in context. The huge number of embarrassing things that COULD happen (and happen to people daily all the time) are mostly leaps and bounds beyond a cute lil' red face.
If you keep your cardiovascular system in good shape by adding to your routine a steady 30 minutes of walking 3 days of each week you may even (after a few weeks) keep your system tuned up enough to reduce the red-effect.
Plus, mention it to your doctor next time you visit him. Your primary care physician knows your physiology better than anyone right now. :-)
Reply:it means ur hot or just strained from lifting weights or exerciseing when i lift heavy stuff my ears turn bright red to and hot so it's no prolem
Reply:HAHA, that sucks, you should shave your head bald, then your head will look like a tomato....HAHAHAHAHA =)
Reply:Some people get hot when exercising...
Try a damp towel around the neck.
Reply:this is just you. accept it and it will ease the embarrassment. stay hydrated.
Reply:A simple anwser to a simple question, like when you wrap an rubber band on your finger it turns colors same thing with your body its not getting enough oxygen so keep your head up so your trakea ( throut) isn't bent to allow oxygen to enter your body. But if you have problems breathing you should see a doctor. But i think all u have is a case of normal as in everyone gets red and sweaty when they workout so i wouldn't worry hope this was helpful.

Did you know that the face from the Shroud of Turin and the Face from the Divine Mercy are the same?
They have overlaid them and they are the exact same face. The face on the Divine Mercy image is from St. Faustina's vision

Clear up my face in 4 days?
As a victim of puberty, I understand your needs. No need to fear! Here's my advice!
*Use a daily face cleanser in the morning*
*Buy Neutrogena OR Clearasil products from your local CVS or Pharmacy*
*Use one of the products above at night*
*Steam your face over hot water. THEN put the face cleanser on it a close your pores up with cold water*
Reply:use clearasil at night. [the white one, not tinted, it doesnt work as fast] .. uhmm.. drink a lot of water, eat yogurt with little sugar, stay away from dairy, get 20minutes of sun per day. good luck! %26amp; eat broccoli.. it really works!!

I fractured the right side of my face and want to play softball before it heals?
Eight days ago I got hit by a line drive and fractured the right side of my face. I want to start playing softball again but shouldn't for 5 more weeks, when the season will be over. I need to wear something over my face when I play, and the only idea I've had is to wear a batting helmet with a cage over my face, but that is bulky and embaressing. Is there a less noticeable way to protect my face?
I fractured the right side of my face and want to play softball before it heals?
you really shouldn't play again before you face completely heals.
if you were to re-injure yourself (and there is no way to 100% prevent this from happening-especially w/a sport where contact w/a person, bat, ball is present) you could face seriously re-fracturing your face and might need surgery to repair it this time.
or you could cause the bones not to set properly which could cause disfiguration or the need to have the bones re-fractured by the dr and reset to grow properly.
i know it's hard to have to sit out on doing something you love but they payoff of having the bones in your face heal properly are way more worth it!!
Reply:which do you value more, finishing the season and possible worse reinjury, or going through the rest of your life with the face you were born with?
Reply:this is the best thing in the world it's called sports safety mask it is specially designed for pitchers but ussa is about to make it manditory for 1b, 3b, and pitcher to where them.
