Whats something i can do to keep the oil off my face?

I don't wear all that much make up. Maybe a lil eye liner and mascara, but as for blush and foudation, not much. I have acne. Its not horrible, but definetly noticable. And i wash my face in the morning and at night. but i seem to have a huge problem with the oil on my face! within...45 minutes after i wash my face, i'll touch it, and it'll jus be sooooo oily! i jus got home from school. The stuff i use to clean my face with is dermotologist approved, in fact i got it from them. Its called Epionce. And it seems like i've become immune to it errr something, because i feel like its not working anymore. Whats something i can do so my face feels less oily? After i wash my face, i let the water run down my face for like 1 minute. Hoping i t would help to get the rest of the junk off. but its not workinG!!! Whats something i can do to keep the oil off?!

Thanks

no matter how many people (even dermatologists have told me!) say that the medicine they give you to treat acne will dry your face in conclusion- no oil! well that's not worked for me.

First, recognize that you will appreciate the oily skin when you are older, however now it seems like a pest. washing your face extra will not help. when picking face washes go for oil free, preferably scrubs (clean and clear is amazing).

the easiest solution is to use a powder or oil free foundation if you'd like, and then the 45 or so minutes after when it tends to get oily, use the oil absorbing sheets [i believe the company's johnson %26amp; johnson]. you take one-- most likely go to the bathroom or somewhere private, and dab it on your nose/forehead/wherever it's oily. once you do that it stays pretty shine free! they work great %26amp; you can see the oil on the pad.

it's basically the best solution, unless you try microdermabrasion - which closes pores to the extent they stop producing as much oil. however that costs $100 and you need a few sessions.

for now i would stick with the oil sheets! good luck!!
Reply:Get these blotting tissues from MAC they are blue in a white and black box, cost about £10 (about $17). You can probably get cheaper versions, but i'm not sure from where. Just press them over your skin throughout the day and they absorb the oil, thereby removing it from your face :-) they are my life savers.

Also use a mild face wash.. Forget these "clearasil" etc type things, all they do it draw all the oil and moisture out of your skin, which sounds good, but actually your skin gets angry and produces much more, so your making the problem worse. Also get a water based moisturiser, as ppl with oily skin think that they shouldnt moisturise, that it will make the prob worse... not true!
Reply:you should wash your face every nite with an exfoliate or hot water if you dont have it.
Reply:I have super oily skin too. it sucks. i have used tons of lotions and cleansers to try and help but nothing works for very long.

the best thing is organic egg whites.

just whip the egg white until its frothy and kind of stiff - it takes a few minutes apply it to your face and let it dry.then rinse with luke warm water.your pores will be smaller your skin will feel tighter and you wont have oily skin for several days.

it smells funny be prepared for that.
Reply:I have the perfect solution! Go to wal-mart or walgreens and buy oil blotters for your face. They absorb oil and wont take off makeup thats what I use! They sell them in the face product area and their about $5.00. Good Luck!
Reply:Try Coalface from Lush, its very good at striping the oil from the face without being too harsh. There is also Fresh Farmacy!

I only began using blotting tissues but they are so annoying %26gt;.%26gt;
Reply:well, actually, i have that same problem!

i use clear %26amp; clear. %26amp; it seems to help me a whole lot.

you should try it too!
Reply:cvs oil blotting paper, like $3!!
