Why is my face getting red?

I have very fair skin, and in the winter when the heat is on indoors, my face gets flushed. I'm not hot at all. (and they're not red from being out in the cold). It's embarassing though because nothing makes it go away except like cool packs on my face (not really possible while at work!)





This happens to my husband too (also very fair skinned). Anyone know why this is happening and what to do about it?

Why is my face getting red?
This may relate to a condition called rosacea. Rosacea can be aggravated by heat and cold, but can also be aggravated by foods, medications and even products you put on the skin.
