He is a white husky, and his face recently became bright white. Why? And is it permanent? Or will his whole body become that shade of white? I thought it could be a mask like huskies have, but it's not the shape of a mask, rather a bright white circle around the face. Here is a photo of it, I marked the picture with an arrow showing where it begins.

Note: this photo was taken a few days ago. The face is now brighter and more noticable.
My White Siberian Husky's face has become bright white! Why?
What a darn dang cutie pie that dog is! Yes, because if he were grey, he'd probably develope that same white mask, it's just adult colors coming in. Also, if he's been out in the sun a lot, my welsh terrier's ears turned blond in the sun!
But I think it's just his markings, and it's very cool. If I were you, I'd hope it would be permanent.
Reply:Cutie!!!
Huskies change their colors all the time as they shed...mine is a year old and has gone through two blowing seasons and he's also changed his markings/color twice too...just a husky thing....quite incredible really....enjoy!
Reply:because you dunked its head in bleach. lol

Reply:Your puppy is shedding its puppy coat, and will have a few occasions where the coat will be different in spots.
