Oval can be both short and long. And that website isn't quite correct. The shape of your face does not end at your eye brows, it ends at your hairline on your forehead.

This is a better way to find out what shape you have...measure. An oval face will have a slightly narrow forehead and chin about the same width, and the cheeks will be about an inche bigger than them. The length of the face will be a little bit longer than the width to double the width, so that's why I say it can be both long and short.

Now about this site. That woman has a square shaped face with a heart shapes hairline. A square face will have very straight up and down cheek bones and forehead with a slightly pointy chin, but the hair line will be almost completely straight, no widows peak as shown on this model. A widows peak is something that people with a heart shape face have, along with a very pointy chin. And if you ask me...all of those faces have the square cheek characteristics, the only difference are the forehead lines. I wouldn't use this website if I were you. Reply:oval is also a long face.....hope this helps its what i have!
Reply:Oval usually means that you have a long face, with a slightly pointed jawline!

Whereas 'oblong' means you usually have a square, flat jawline and chin, but your face is still longer than it is wide.

Generally in England we just use the term 'long' face for anyone whose face is longer than it is wide, regardless of the shape of the chin.

I have a long face, like Jennifer Anniston's!
