Where Can I Take A Face Painting Class?( iM iN High School)?

man..okay i dont even know where to start! i was searching up pictures on yahoo. and i came across this face painting! and it was so exotic and all! i really like it, and im not talking about learning how to draw butterflies on kids faces like at disneyland. heres an example of what i found online that i wanna learn how to do!

this is B E A Utiful if you ask me! i live in oakland california. bay area. im a 16 year old sophomore right now. i dont know what or where there are classes for the public that teach people how to do these things. i know my school doesnt have a program for it either.. if someone may please help me find a class! i would very much appreciate it! i think this might change my life if i follow this path into learning how to face paint. it will probally open more oppertunities and all. i really look forward to it! thanks!

I have never heard of a formal class for face painting. A friend of mine %26amp; I, years ago just for fun, went to a clown school at our local rec center. We learned how to be a clown, face painting, balloon animals %26amp; silly magic.





I would recommend just finding some great books on face painting or even different make-up tricks because these can come in handy too.


There is a web site that sells supplies for face painting %26amp; videos to learn. It is a company called T. Myers. They do a lot w/ clowning, but once you learn the basics of the whole face painting thing, you can just be adventurous. I work w/ a lady who works at MAC who uses a lot of stencils to do her really awesome looks for herself %26amp; her clients. It is just about being an artist %26amp; doing your own thing. Get some supplies %26amp; just ask people to sit still %26amp; practice on them.
