I really admire the faux hawk hair cut and I'm not sure if it will go with the long face i have. I just don't want a hair cut that will not match with my face type?
What kind of face works best for a faux hawk?
A faux hawk usually makes the face shape appear longer, so it usually looks best on oval, round, and square shapes. If your face is long it can look good if the hair is left fuller on the sides, and the top "hawk" section is a bit short, and even styled off center so that it doesn't add even more length to the face. Also, keep the sideburns short, if they get passed the earlobe area it makes the face look thinner and longer.
