I have a dry, flaky face, can i use this?

My face has like little face, and i think it's pretty dry. I have this really good see salt mineral scrub, that makes my hands really soft, and takes away dead skin. Can i use it on my face. I'm not sure because my hands are usually oily after i use it. I have pictures of what it looks like in case you have it.

NO! Do not use that on your face, usually when the scrub is in a tub like that, it's meant for the body and sits in oil (YIKES). Your face is more delicate so you'll need something with smaller granules.

I always surf makeupalley.com and read reviews for products and have tried a bunch of exfoliators/scrubs in the past few years since I have the same issue in the winter on my cheeks/nose. I've spent upwards of $75 for a single ounce to pennies on drugstore brand scrubs...

My conclusion: I really like the L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise ReFinish Micro-Dermabrasion Kit. It's a cream that has tiny particles that scrub off dead skin from your face. You message it in a circular motion all over your face for about 2 mins then wash off. It's about $26 (but it goes on sale for about $20 sometimes) and they carry it at the drugstore. It says to use it 2-3 times a week and you only use a very small amount, it lasts about 2 months. There are a lot of products out there like it but usually they would make me break out or make my face worse, I've been using this since August and really love it.

So far, no dry skin this year, probably the first year ever.

Good luck.... :)

P.S. - L'Oreal should be paying me :)
Reply:nono..pls do not...u cant scrub ur face since ur face is already dry...i think u can try using dainty aloe mask frm sg website at 88db which will help to moisture the skin...i think u can also use aloe vera plant and use the flesh and apply on the face..
Reply:In most cases it makes your face dryer and itchier and breaks out pimples, zits, etc for most skin. I would recommend Clearsil or Johnsons Baby Wash for dry skin on the face. Happy Holidays.
Reply:i use face scrub when i have flaky skin and it works wonders. just dont forget the moisturizer afterwards!
Reply:if you use it on your face you'll probably break out
Reply:Don't put it on your face!!!! You will break out immediately! To get rid of dry skin use a gentle face cleanser and a good lotion ( I suggest Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer). It helps a lot!

If you have dry skin under your eyebrows you can use hair conditioner on them.
Reply:Oh no no no no dont put that on your face! I have stuff just like that and it contains oils that will completely clog your pores. You'll be so broken out its not even funny. Get a normal face scrub from the drug store like Biore or Neutrogena. That will probably help you a lot. And make sure you moisturize every day!
Reply:go to www.arbonne.com they have great natural products that wont harm you by injecting animal byproducts or mineral oil into your system!!!

Enjoy
